Allergy Safe is an iOS and Android application that I personally developed that helps users with food allergies or intolerances, like myself, ensure packaged food products they eat are free of their allergies and intolerances. I had the idea for this project when I moved out of the dorms and realized how long it took and how difficult it was to determine what packaged foods were free of my allergies and intolerances. Throughout the project, I gathered and integrated user feedback. This allowed my final app to be more effective.

Overview

  • Description: Allergy Safe is an iOS and Android application that helps users with allergies ensure that foods they eat are free of their allergies.
  • Results: I have currently created the iOS and Android versions of the app. I am working on the releasing process.
  • Impact: Once released, this app will help users with allergies or intolerances feel more safe and confident when consuming packaged food products.
