During the summer of 2016, I worked as a Technology Instructor for Youth Tech Inc. in Des Moines, Iowa. Below is a list and description of the major job roles and skills that I learned during this work experience:
- Technology Class Instruction Delivery: Completed
- Troubleshoot and Debug Problems: Completed
Technology Class Instruction Delivery
- Description: I taught classes of up to 30 students about various technologies from coding to music generation.
- Results: I was successful in teaching and bonding with the students.
- Impact: Because of my exceptional performance, I was promoted to lead instructor in one summer.
Troubleshoot and Debug Problems
- Description: I had to quickly get up to speed with course concepts and solve issues students may encounter along the way.
- Results: I was able to successfully solve these issues.
- Impact: This allowed the class to proceed smoothly.
